Jefferson Airplane’s Volunteers was the sound of a movement, and we pay tribute to their revolutionary music by featuring the same juxtaposition of the realities of our struggling nation mixed in with the hope and promise of the American dream that their music portrayed 50 years ago. Both uplifting and sobering, this song is just as relevant now as it was when it was written. We wanted to bring the album style to life, while at the same time conveying the complex themes from when it was created 50 years ago that are more relevant than ever now. Our Creative Director interviewed the surviving members of the band to get quotes and put together a short narrative to create this album trailer featuring a revolution in every sense of the word.
