I wrote this story inspired by the experience of leaving my hometown (Caracas, Venezuela). Everyone who leaves their home feels lonely at first, especially when you move to a big city. Whether your hometown is Tampa or Buenos Aires, it’s a universal feeling. Frank Sinatra’s performance in this song always brought me both tears and smiles, and it always gave me hope that things were going to be okay, even at my lowest points. My wish for this video is to share that hopeful sentiment with all who watch it, because this song never failed me–not once. It was a dream come true to co-direct this video with @ala_nunu and bring this story to life.
