In this video, we use the power of symbolism to celebrate not only the soaring musicianship of this RUSH classic, but also the very real subject matter it talks about. Sound waves through the radio have shaped so many of our lives. From Marconi himself, through the famous DJs of the 20th century, we take a trip down memory lane and into the stratosphere in this celebration of sound and, more importantly, the greatest drummer of all time: Neil Peart. This was the first piece of new official RUSH content fans experienced after Neil passed away in January 2020. Besides the obvious pressure to create a video for this classic song, we took seriously the fact that we needed to do everything we could to honor Neil’s memory, in a classy RUSH type of way. The entire video was produced under lockdown restrictions, and the fan feedback has been overwhelming. Everyone cries tears of joy after watching this celebration of the band’s legacy. We can’t ask for more as a studio.
